North Shore harbor town at golden hour

Areas Served

Neighborhoods

Boston, the North Shore and the towns between the city and the New Hampshire line.

The Market

Where I Work

Six markets, each with its own buyer, its own pricing logic and its own reason to be patient. Below is the short version. The longer version is a phone call.

Back Bay & Beacon Hill

01

Back Bay & Beacon Hill

Brownstone floor plates, full service buildings and the tightest supply in the city.

Two of the most established addresses in Boston, and two very different buyers. Back Bay trades on light, ceiling height and elevator access. Beacon Hill trades on the street itself. In both, the number of genuinely renovated full floor units in any given quarter is small enough to count.

South End

02

South End

Bow fronts, parlour levels and Boston’s strongest renovation market.

Victorian bow fronts, brick sidewalks and the highest density of good restaurants in the city. Buyers here care about the parlour level, the outdoor space and the quality of the conversion. Condition varies enormously between two units on the same block, which is where representation earns its keep.

Marblehead

03

Marblehead

Harbor frontage, Old Town lanes and the Neck.

A harbor town where the price is set by the view and the walk to the water. Old Town is close quartered and historic, the Neck is estate scale, and the difference between the two in dollars per square foot is not obvious from a listing photograph.

Manchester-by-the-Sea

04

Manchester-by-the-Sea

Coastal estates and family compounds, thirty five minutes north.

Singing Beach, deep lots and houses that stay in families for generations. Inventory is thin by design, so a real share of what changes hands here is introduced privately rather than listed.

Newton & Brookline

05

Newton & Brookline

Schools, land and new construction for buyers leaving the city.

The classic next move for a Boston household that has outgrown a condominium. Land value drives the market, teardown and rebuild activity is constant, and quality between builders varies more than buyers expect.

Southern New Hampshire

06

Southern New Hampshire

Land, acreage and new construction within commuting distance.

No sales tax, more land per dollar and a serious new construction market. For buyers who want acreage or an income property without leaving the Boston orbit, this is the value line, and I am licensed to advise on both sides of it.
